Dr. Raugei holds a B.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences from the University of Siena (Italy), and also received graduate-level education in Environmental Engineering at the University of Florida (USA).
Currently, he is Senior Research Fellow and Associate Lecturer in the School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics (Faculty of Technology, Design and the Environment), Oxford Brookes University (UK), as well as a regular Visiting Scientist at the Center for Life Cycle Analysis, Columbia University, New York (USA). He is also a member of the International Energy Agency PVPS Task 12.
Dr. Raugei’s main research interests and the core of his research activity to date have been in (i) the theoretical improvement of existing approaches for environmental sustainability assessment, taking into account a wide range of viewpoints and methods, and (ii) their application to energy systems and the development of strategic energy supply and transport scenarios.
His research activity has been documented in over 50 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed international journals, as well as over 100 other scientific documents published in conference proceedings, reports, scientific books and encyclopaedias.
