Jason Terreblanche

Jason completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry (MChem) in 2018 at the University of Leicester. He has continued on at the university to study for his PhD in materials chemistry under the supervision of profs. Karl Ryder and Andy Abbott. His current focuses are on the use of Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) to characterise lithium ion battery materials for recycling, as well as using in-situ electrochemical AFM studies to develop and characterise deposition and recovery of critical metals from lithium ion battery waste solutions.
